How to do updation of employee details through Employee Master?

In an orgainization Employees profiles/ details undergoes change. For example: Employee “A” has been transferred or promoted so as an HR you need to update his Place/ Department /Designation.


NO WORRIES!!!!


As Hr/ Admin/ Processing team, you can update the same from Emp Master Template. This is the mandatory steps which need to be followed by the customer’s HR/Admin/processing teams.


You can execute following simple steps towards updating the details of your employee (Email change, new number updation, etc) through Emp Master Template.


Step 1:


First go to “Payroll Management” module option that you see on your screen after you have logged in as an Administrator. You now get to see this option “Payroll Download”, click on the same.




Step 2:


Select the template as “EmpMaster” and click on Download.


(Note: Save the template in .xls format)

 



NOTE: Always remove Column”A” and Row from 2 to 5 as it contains explanatory data/ details.


Step 3:


You need to fill some mandatory details into the Emp Master Template:


1. Type (Column “A”): In type column please write “U” for updating the employee details.


2. Employee Code Column “B”): Insert the employee code for which particular changes needs to be done.


3. From date (Column “CD”): From Date indicates from which date changes will be applicable.

(NOTE: Date format should be as “DD/MM/YYYY”)  


4. Add the details into the respective column which needs to be updated into the template.

 Eg:As HR you want to update  EmailID/DOB/DOJ/ bank details/Org Level details, just fill the values in the respective column.


Save the template in “.xls” format.


Step 4: 


Upload the same file through “Payroll Upload” Screen:

 


The Below screen will be visible. Click on Browse and select the file and click on drop down icon and select Template Name as “EmpMaster” and click on the Excel Icon to upload.


 



You will get the pop up of “EmpMaster updated successfully”.


Step 5: 


Go to Payroll Management and click on “Payroll Submit Upload”.



 

Select the Template/ Batch and click on “Click Here To Submit Batch”. Same pass by “Payroll Checker 1” and then “Payroll Checker 2”.







                               

Your processing will now be accurate and all the update details of an employee will be visible properly into the system.
