FAQ Question: How do I perform Employee-wise manager mapping?

[Note : This is for 4.1 client.]

Experience@zingHR: Please follow the below steps to map Employees to their respective managers.

There are two methods to do Employee-wise manager mapping:

Method 1: Employee wise - To perform Manager Mapping for individual employees

Step 1: Go to 'Common' tab

Step 2:

Step 3: Enter Employee-wise Approver Codes as per Approver Levels.

Step 4: Select the Modules for which you wish to apply the changes and Click on 'Save'.

Step 5:

The following message will pop up once the changes are saved. Click on 'OK'.

Method 2: Quick Swap - To perform Manager Mapping for all Employees mapped under an individual Manager

Step 1: Go to 'Common' tab

Step 2: Select 'Quick Swap' and Enter the Current Approver and the New Approver (you wish to assign to all the employees under the Current Approver).

E.g. Employee 'A' is resigning and he/she happens to be the Current Approver for the employees mapped under him/her. Meanwhile, Employee 'B' will act as a substitute for Employee 'A'. Therefore, all the employees mapped under the Current Approver (Employee 'A') need to be mapped under New Approver (Employee 'B').

Step 3: Select the Modules for which you wish to apply the changes and Click on 'Save'.

Step 4: The following message will pop up once the changes are saved. Click on 'OK'.
