FAQ Question: How do I upload LMS manager mapping template?
Experience@zingHR: If the LMS manager mapping is not updated for the employee, on the “Leave application screen”, employee will be able to apply for the leave but it wont go for any approval and it will show as pending in employee leave summary. Hence to overcome this, Hr/ Admin/ Processing team need to do this activity. This is a mandatory step which needs to be followed by the he customer’s HR/Admin/processing teams.

You can execute following simple steps towards updating Manager Mapping for Leave application(LMS Manager Mapping).
Step 1: First go to “Data Upload Engine” module option that you see on your screen after you have logged in as an Administrator (Employees do not get this facility). You now get to see this option “Download”. Click it (as shown below) to get the template of “LMS Manager Mapping”.
Step 2: Select the template as “LMSManagerMapping” and click on Download.
(Note: Save the template in .xls format)
Step 3: The template will look as below. Add the details as mention in the screen shot

Emp Code: Enter the proper employee code

Level Id: Enter the level of approver. For eg. 4567 is marked as Manager for 1234 as a first level of approver, so enter “1”

Manager Code: Enter the employee code of manager. For eg “4567”

Req Manager Mapping For TNA: This column indicates that do you want to map the same manager As an “Approver” for TNA or not. If Yes Write as “Yes”, If No write as “NO”

Req Manager Mapping For Employee Dossier: This field indicate the same as above. Mostly Approver of Employee dossier is set as HR, hence its should be as “No”.
Step 4: Upload the same file through “Upload” Screen:
The Below screen will appear. Click on Browse and select the file and click on drop down icon and select Template Name as “LMSManagerMapping” and click on the Excel Icon to to upload.
You will get the pop up of “LMS Manager Mapping uploaded successfully”
Step 5: Go to Data upload engine and click on “Submit Upload”.
Select the Template/ Batch and click on “Click Here To Submit Batch”. Same pass by “Checker 2”
Your processing will now be accurate; On the leave application screen, The mapped manager will be visible properly.
