FAQ – How can you as an HR change or update the DOL of an FnF initiated employee into the system?

Experience@ZingHR:

If you are an HR of the company and due to certain changes or circumstances you have to change the DOL of the employee.

NO WORRIES!!!!

As Hr/ Admin/ Processing team, you can update the same from Emp Master Template. These are the below steps which needs to be followed by the customer’s HR/Admin/processing teams.

Step 1:

First go to “Settlement” module option that you see on your screen after you have logged in as an Administrator. You now get to see this option “FnF Download”, click on the same.

Step 2: Select the template as “EmpMaster” and click on Download.

(Note: Save the template in .xls format)

NOTE: Always remove Column”A” and Row from 2 to 5 as it contains explanatory data/ details.

Step 3:

You need to fill some mandatory details into the Emp Master Template

A. Type (Column “A”):  In type column please write “U” for updating the employee details.

B. Employee Code Column “B”): Insert the employee code for which particular changes needs to be done.

C. Date of leaving : Enter the accurate date of leaving of an employee.

D. From date (Column “CD”):  From Date indicates from which date changes will be applicable. (Same as DOL)

(NOTE: Date format should be as “DD/MM/YYYY”)

Save the template in “.xls” format.

Step 4: Upload the same file through “FnF Upload” Screen:

The Below screen will be visible. Click on Browse and select the file and click on drop down icon and select Template Name as “EmpMaster” and click on the Excel Icon to upload.

You will get the pop up of “EmpMaster updated successfully”.

Step 5:  Go to Settlement and click on “FnF Submit Upload”.

Select the Template/ Batch and click on “Click Here To Submit Batch”. Same pass by “Settlement Checker 1” and then “Settlement Checker 2”.

Your processing will now be accurate and all the update details of an employee will be visible properly into the system.
