1

What should be the status of the new joiner?

NewJoinee

This status is applicable for the first process of salary after the employee joins the firm. This is necessary for the employees joining in the previous month, and arrear days to be processed along with the current month's salary.

2

What status appears for employees joining in the previous payroll cycle but processed in the next month?

For employees joining in the previous payroll cycle whether the salary is processed in the same month or not, the status changes to " Existing " once the payroll month is closed. For such cases, if the employee is supposed to be processed along with arrear days of the joining month, the status needs to be changed to "NewJoinee".

3

When does the status change to existing?

Existing

Once the Payroll month is closed & new Payroll month is opened, the new joiners will be converted to existing ones. This status refers to those employees who are regular.

4

What status appears during the Exit process?

FnF Initiated

The status changes to FNF Initiated when an employee resigns, and the resignation is approved by the level 1 manager/ level 2 manager / HR (as per the Company policy).

FnF InProcess

This status changes from FNF initiated to FNF in process when the resignation is approved at all levels and the checklist is cleared. At this stage, the FNF can be processed.

FnF Locked

Once the status becomes FNF in process, the same changes to FNF Locked after month closure. This means that all the processes about the employee are closed.

5

Can the FNF be reprocessed after the status becomes ' FNF Locked '?

No process can be done when the status is FNF Locked. However, the FNF can be reprocessed after changing the Status to " FNF InProcess " through the payroll cockpit by Master Updation Template.

6

What can be done if the employee having DOL in the current month needs to be processed for statutory purposes but should not be paid?

For such cases, we have a "Hold" Template. This template changes the Status to Hold for all the employees updated by this template.

7

When does the status change to Salary Hold?

Salary Hold

For such cases, we have a "Hold" Template. This template changes the Status to Salary Hold for all the employees updated by this template.

8

When does the status change to Salary Release?

Salary Release

For such cases, we have a "Hold" Template in that template that needs to be updated in Action as “Salary Release”.
